THE closing date for bursary applications at Maluti A Phofung Technical Training College is 30 November.
Matric pupils are advised to apply as soon as possible for bursaries for next year to avoid disappointment.
Marketing manager Makgala Moloi-Labase said: “I appeal to this year’s matrics who would like to study at our college next year to visit us to gain clear information on how to apply.”
She said there’s also a new way to apply for next year.
“Previously, students signed bursary application forms in person but now we use an online application system.”
She said students can also communicate directly with the National Students Financial Aid Scheme.
“This system will help them to correct errors in time.”
She said the aid scheme will not process applications in January.
“I appeal to everyone interested in studying here to apply for bursaries as soon as possible.”
Matric pupil Lebohang Mokoena (18) said she’s hoping to study at the college next year.
She said her dream is to become a draughtswoman in the next five years or so.
