Cassper Nyovest: Zuma must not come to my funeral whem I die.
Hiphop superstar Cassper Nyovest says he doesn’t want president Jacob Zuma to come to his funeral when he dies because he respects the former freedom fighter Ahmed Kathrada.
“I respected Uncle Kathy because he was not corrupt. If he didn’t want the president at his funeral I also don’t want him at my funeral. I want to have a corrupt-free funeral,” said the Mama I Made It rapper.
Nyovest’s statement comes a day after the family of the late Rovonia trialist Ahmed Kathrada told president Zuma that he was not welcome at the funeral of the ANC stalwart.
President Zuma said today he was not going to the funeral of a South African apartheid-era leader after Ahmed Kathrada’s family asked him to stay away.
Economic Freedom Fighters president Julius Malema said he was happy Jacob Zuma was not allowed to be at the funeral because he was rotten to the core.
